Nancy Drew Becomes Official Red Sock; Ramirez So Excited, He's Staying

Looks like JD got that $3M/year raise after all, according to Jon Heyman at SI.com. Five years, $70M. Pending a physical, of course--not that there would be anything wrong with Drew's medical condition, right?

Manny Ramirez talks get another confirmation of apparent death, as the Red Sox call their discussion with 13 potential suitors "all but dead." Manny isn't going anywhere on this, the fourth time that the Red Sox explored unloading him. Heyman reports, "Of course Manny's staying," one cynical competitor said. "They never wanted to move him in the first place."

No confirmation to the rumors that Ramirez is amped for Drew's clubhouse leadership and team presence.

So now, how hard do you think Ned starts gunning for Gonzo?
