Monday's USA Today (print edition (yes, they still have one)) reported that former Dodger Eric Karros will move from ESPN to Fox for the 2007 season. He will be one of three local fill-ins for regionalized games as well as studio pregame shows, along with Mark Grace and Joe Girardi.
Congratulations to Karros for making the big time as an analyst, in the first year of Fox's new contract, under which Fox will expand coverage to 26 Saturdays (up from 18) and gain more favorable start times (1pm PT).
Tim McCarver and Joe Buck remain the lead on-air team. So there's nowhere to go but up for Karros.
